Safran du Terroir

Pierre Liagre, saffron cultivateur, invites you to discover the "Safran du Terroir". Here, saffron is grown without fertilizers or pesticides and all stages of production, from planting to harvesting, are carried out manually and by hand.
Visit to the plantation from late October to 17th November (with reservation) at 06 17 88 48 48 (limited places available). Duration of visit: 1h30 approx. 5 euros/adult.
On the program of the visit: Discovery of saffron, information about the cultivation of the sativus crocus, history, properties, participation in the gathering and pruning of the crocus flower. Complimentary saffron and saffron tea cookies.
