Moulin Boudoire

The Vieux Château Oil Mill is the oldest building in Mérindol, a village in the Luberon. Built at the end of the 16th century, it bears witness to four centuries of olive oil production.
The mill is still working today. Olives are gathered in a traditionally festive atmosphere during November and December of each year, before extracting this oil that is considered sacred by Provençal people.
Olive growing has shaped the landscape, forming an integral part of the local population's lives for generations.

- Discover the history and process of making olive oil, every morning from 10 am to 12 noon, except on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Free self-guided tour.
- Groups are accepted (15 people maximum).
- Viewing and tasting of the latest harvest.
- Produce can be bought directly at the mill.
