La Célestière

On Route de Roquemaure in the south-western part of the appellation, La Célestière (formerly La Glacière), taken over in 2008 by Béatrice and Neil JOYCE (already the owners of DOMAINE DALMERAN in Les Alpilles region), underwent major renovation work in 2009 to create an entirely new, high-performance wine-storage area, as well as a new winemaking cellar including concrete vats, casks and demi-muid oak barrels. We have a new, light-filled and contemporary cellar for tasting red Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines, giving pride of place to the Grenache grape variety in our wines: Tradition, La Croze, Les Domaines and, depending on the year, La Confidentielle. There is also a limited edition white Châteauneuf-du-Pape, an appealing Côtes-du-Rhône and a tasty Vin de Pays du Vaucluse.
