This County Museum, unique in France, tells the story of the production and printing methods used for cardboard packaging in cardboard capital Valréas, from the mid-19th Century to the present.

Learn all about the famous 'draft' boxes invented for trade in the silkworm business, as well as cardboard packaging for the perfume industry, pharmacy, jewellery, and confectionary, lithographs, and reproduction of a printing workshop. Come and discover an industry which enjoyed worldwide fame in the early 20th century, and which still thrives today.

Every year, there is a new temporary exhibition. The museum also has a bookshop and gift shop.

Free entry for disabled persons and under 18's.

Closed exceptionally on January 1st.
During this period, the museum is only open to groups of 10 or more by prior arrangement, and for special events.

From 04/07 to 30/09 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 10 am and 1 pm and between 2.30 pm and 6 pm.
The first Sunday of each month, the museum is free open at the same times.
Groups of 10 or more are welcome on reservation.

From 01/10 to 31/12 daily.
