Wine tourism at the Ferme St Martin

Blending workshop, picnic with a view, food & wine pairing… Domaine de la Ferme Saint Martin offers creative activities with a view!

La Ferme Saint Martin, at Suzette

Perched at an altitude of 400 metres, with a 180° view of the Dentelles de Montmirail and the first folds of the Mont Ventoux, the Domaine de la Ferme Saint Martin is an instant hit with visitors who have made it up the winding roads from Beaumes-de-Venise to the little village of Suzette. And yet there’s much more to it than this marvellous view: the dozen or so Côtes-du-Rhône, Beaumes-de-Venise and AOC Ventoux wines produced by Thomas Julien, a committed and passionate winemaker who loves natural, sincere wines, confirm that the journey was worthwhile.

The vines – which include old indigenous grape varieties – are cultivated biodynamically and the juice ferments without oenological inputs. Sophie Julien, who joined her husband at the estate in 2020, has devised a range of wine-tourism activities to give visitors a more hands-on approach to this philosophy: blending workshops, tasting under hypnosis, picnics at the estate, walks along the vineyard path…

Wine tourism activities:

Blending workshops (Grenache, Syrah, Terret Noir and Cinsault): 2 hours, 6 to 16 people, €45/pers. (French/English)

Country baskets: €38/baskets for two people, to enjoy on the terrace, facing the grand panorama of the Dentelles de Montmirail

And also: blind tasting, including non-alcoholic juices (1–1.5 hours, €30), food and wine pairing (1–1.5 hours, €20), massage in the vineyards (30 minutes, €35)…
