Following the acquisition of the Compagnie des Grands Bateaux de Provence in 2023, Le Mireïo was renovated to offer river excursions from Avignon that better meet visitors’ expectations.
A modernised fleet
Spring 2024 marked the return to service of Le Mireïo, the iconic ships of the Grands Bateaux de Provence. The new investors had immediately embarked on the redesign of cruise programmes on the Rhône and the modernisation of the 230 passengers boat: a large restaurant and, in season, a panoramic terrace for lunches and dinners with a view.
Cruises and Excursions on the Rhône
For groups only
– The cruise-excursion to Châteauneuf-du-Pape with lunch on board, stopover in Châteauneuf-du-Pape for free time or including a visit to a vineyard (+ €18/pers).
– 1h scenic cruises around Avignon and Villeneuve-lez-Avignon. Group rates from 50 people.
FIT and groups
– The lunch cruise: 3 hours cruising along the monuments of Avignon and Villeneuve-lez-Avignon, during a bistronomic lunch on the Rhône.
12 noon – 2:30 p.m. From €35/person, €55 incl. drinks
– The dinner cruise to enjoy the breathtaking views of Avignon and Villeneuve-lez-Avignon at sunset.
8.30 – 10.30 p.m. From €45/person, €65 incl. drinks.
– The cruise-excursion to Arles, including lunch and a free or guided tour of the city (+ €5). Every Sunday from April 1 to October 31, 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. From €55/pers.
