Established since 1994 in the vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the Castelain chocolate factory had a total makeover in 2024, with new areas dedicated to tours, meetings with the Master Chocolatier and participatory chocolate-making workshops.
Chocolaterie Castelain
The vast premises of the Castelain chocolate factory, which adjoin the Blachère distillery, can be seen well before you reach Châteauneuf-du-Pape, surrounded by a sea of vines. Since the company was founded in 1994, production has moved to Althen-les-Paluds, but the Châteauneuf site still houses a shop as well as premises specially adapted for chocolate workshops for the general public.
The premises were completely renovated in 2024 and can now comfortably accommodate groups for a range of rich and exciting workshops.
