The Ameno craft brewery puts on events all year round at Camaret-sur-Aigues, near Orange. Its wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces are perfect for organising large tables to enjoy a meal as well as pétanque or table football competitions.
The brewery
Even in Côtes du Rhône country, craft breweries are now dotted around the countryside.
At Camaret-sur-Aigues, in a former garden centre, Arnaud and Thibaud have started a new career as brewers by creating “Ameno”. It is more than a brewery where lager, classic or tasting beers, IPA or amber beers are brewed, it’s also a hop field where the two friends grow part of the hops that are used to make their beer, and more than anything a place where locals and visitors can get together around large tables to enjoy a meal or the pétanque grounds.
