They are the two new kids on the block in Avignon, although rather large! These double-decker buses, part of the Cars Lieutaud scheme, perfectly complement the tours offered by the Petit Train . With the little tourist train , you can explore the medieval centre, whilst from the open-top deck of the bus, you can admire the ramparts, pay a visit to Villeneuve-les-Avignon, Avignon’s beautiful cousin on the opposing bank, and enjoy stunning views of the town from the other side of the Rhône river.
If there was a list of towns and regions with the most beautiful aerial views, you can bet that Vaucluse and Avignon would be on it. The Medieval city seemingly entwined within its city walls, nestled against the Rhône and dominated by its vast Gothic palace, and a little further afield, the Luberon mountain range with its hilltop villages, the legendary Mont Ventoux, and the rippling vineyards of the Dentelles de Montmirail…These are just some of the dream landscapes that you can discover during one of Easy Helico’s sightseeing flights.
Aah, driving in the South of France! Long avenues lined with plane trees, quiet roads winding through the hills and the smell of the garrigue coming through the open window of your shiny 2CV, your roaring Triumph or your iconic Beetle Cabriolet! Here are some reviews of this sepia coloured experience which you can find in Vaucluse. Don’t forget your straw hats!

In the last 8 years, left luggage offices have disappeared from the majority of railway stations in France, much to the frustration of travellers. In the centre of Avignon, a new left luggage office has just opened. This service, which has a total of 70 lockers and luggage screening equipment, identical to that used in airports, is located inside the city walls, just opposite Avignon-Centre railway station, ideal for visitors keen to make the most of every last minute in this charming papal city.
This line has been closed to travellers since … 1938! It will re-open with new modern amenities in April 2015. Since the opening of the Avignon TGV – Avignon Centre shuttle line, Mont Ventoux has become gradually more accessible by public transport for all travellers from Paris and throughout Europe.
At last, a site that is going to help your customers who do not wish to drive or resort to a chauffeur-driven car, to travel through Provence by making the most of the public transport at their disposal!
