We have selected our top 10 experiences in the Vaucluse to add to your programmes. Each of these providers have a number of other products to offer, but we had the tough job of narrowing it down to one experience per provider!
1 – From lavender to essential oils
Harvest lavender with a sickle, learn all about its culture in Provence, distil it in the alembic and leave with your bottle of organic lavender essential oil

3 – The Luberon on an electric scooter
Go for a ride on an electric scooter in the Luberon and finish enjoying a glass (with or without alcohol!) on a wine estate

4 – Pick wild plants

5 – In a Vintage car

6 – Outing in a Dyane and sunset aperitif
Set out in a Citroën Dyane with your guide Corine, for a “Aperitif perché” in a secret place where you can watch the sun setting while chatting and tasting a selection of local products.

7 – Cook at the market
Take part in a cooking class in the Halles d’Avignon indoor market after having filled your baskets with what inspires your chef, and finish with lunch in the heart of the market

8 – Almond trees to nougat

9 – In a VW Kombi in the vineyards
Set out with a winemaker for a ride in a VW Kombi with seventies decor to explore the Gigondas vineyard and finish with a bucolic picnic, wine tasting of wines from the Domaine de la Tourade and a 70s’ music ambience until nightfall
All year round except during the harvest in September, by reservation.

10 – From olive tree to olive oil
Visit a Luberon olive grove, with guaranteed panoramic views, then come back to the mill to understand all about the methods of extracting olive oil and follow an introduction to tasting different kinds of olive oil (green fruity, ripe fruity, mature olives)
