Quirky accommodation in the heart of the famous vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape: Les Cabanes des Grands Cépages. 15 luxurious wooden cabins have been constructed on the turquoise waters of Lac de la Lionne, whether on stilts, floating on the water or semi-troglodyte.
Eco-friendly cabins
Designed to blend seamlessly into the environment, they have large windows to let in the sun and summer breeze, allowing for total immersion in the heart of nature.
These eco-friendly cabins are not the first venture for Gaspard de Moustiers and Emmanuel de la Bédoyère. Previous such accommodation designed by them include the Cabanes des Grands Lacs in Franche-Comté, the Cabanes des Grands Reflets near Switzerland, and the Cabanes des Grands Chênes, near Paris, all of which are successful and professionally run.
On this occasion, they have chosen the vineyards that produce Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the most famous wine in the Rhone Valley region, and the fish-filled waters of the tranquil Lac de la Lionne, located near the town of Sorgues.

How many?
15 cabins measuring approximately from 15m² to 25m² , including two-person cabins and family-size cabins that can house up to 5 people.
How are they furnished?
They all have mod cons and air conditioning. The bathrooms have an Italian-style shower. Some cabins have Nordic-style hot tubs installed on a private terrace. There is no kitchen, but a coffee machine is available and meals or aperitifs can be delivered, provided exclusively by the best local producers and restaurant-owners. Wifi is only available in the main building (a digital detox is a luxury nowadays, after all!)

Is it possible to organise activities?
Of course! Cycle rides, hiking, wine-tasting trips with the wine-growers of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, yoga classes, bouquets of flowers or scattered petals in the bedroom for a romantic trip…
And seminars?
There is a main building where meetings and seminars can be held for unconventional team-building exercises. The 50m² meeting room can hold up to 40 people, and is fully equipped with wifi, flip-chart, projector, screen, etc.
