The brand new Parc Spirou amusement park is opening on 1 June 2018 between Avignon and Carpentras. Unsurprisingly, it’s themed around the Spirou comic strip. And although Spirou himself is the park’s symbol, the attractions will be based on Spirou and Fantasio cartoon books as well as other characters from the Dupuis stable, including Marsupilami, Lucky Luke, the Daltons and Gaston Lagaffe. Something for all the generations to enjoy together!
The park offers 21 attractions, including 9 unique in France and Europe, and 5 added this year, across over 4.5 hectares, as well as a selection of enjoyable food and drink options.
Roller coasters: Parc Spirou boasts three roller coasters, including the impressive Spirou Racing, rising up to 20 metres at its highest point. Each ride features different characters: Spirou (Spirou Racing), Lucky Luke and the Daltons (Wanted by Lucky Luke), and Seccotine (En Avant Seccotine);
More family-friendly attractions, themed around the Marsupilami family and Comte de Champignac, are perfect for all ages, especially younger visitors (from age 4)
Indoor digital attractions: three 3-/4-/5-D simulators take visitors on an extraordinary journey through the worlds of Gaston, Zombillénium and the dinosaurs. These spectacular attractions feature a mix of monsters from the comic strips, scarily realistic dinosaurs, and panicky Spirou magazine staff trying to deal with Gaston’s enormous blunders.
Every day between 10am and 7pm until 30 August 2020, then every weekend from 10am to 6pm from September.
